who we are

Gregor Sayet-Bone, you may find some who are deep, and some who are wide, rare is the bird so deep and wide…

Modern Pathos magazine has pronounced him the most preeminent songwriter no one has ever heard of or seen much, by far…

Be the first on your block to take stock, in the meanings of words unlocked!

Jeb Puryear subtly weaves a tapestry of sound that is ripe with expression and laden with imagery, much like those of mountain scenes with soft and supportive valleys leading to instrumentals rising upward towards textured jagged peaks that poke through the cloud cover of song and dance alongside the sentiments in Gregor’s lyrics.

If James Brown can be correct in the philosophy that “every instrument is a drum” then the inverse must be held true as well, the drum is every instrument. Rare is it to find a more skilled arbiter of this than Luca Greenspun. The Tac-a-tacs weave seamlessly from pick-on-string to stick-on-drum, the boom-to-the-boom melds inextricably with the subway whir of the plunk-a-plunk.

Jonas Puryear’s basslines lumber into frame, like a shrouded sun, shifting out from under cloud cover.
